Details & Dimensions

Use these universal planning dimensions as a starting point. We will adjust the final proportions to your room, seating, selected slab, and base.

Finished height vs. base height

All heights below are finished tabletop heights. Natural slabs vary in thickness, so the base is engineered after the exact slab is selected: finished height minus slab thickness. We also redraw the base proportions for Coffee, Dining, Counter, or Bar use instead of simply compressing the same design.

Recommended table and seating dimensions by use
Use Table Height Seat Height Planning Guide
Coffee Table 16–18 in
41–46 cm
Match the sofa seat or sit 1–2 in lower About ⅔ of the sofa length. Allow 16–18 in between the table and seating. Cabana can make a 15.7 in / 40 cm finished height when it suits the sofa.
Dining Table 28–30 in
71–76 cm
17–19 in
43–48 cm
Typical width: 36–42 in. Allow 24 in per person minimum or 28 in for comfortable seating, plus at least 36 in around the table.
Counter Table 34–36 in
86–91 cm
24–26 in
61–66 cm
Maintain approximately 10–12 in between the seat and the underside of the tabletop.
Bar Table 40–42 in
102–107 cm
28–30 in
71–76 cm
Allow approximately 26–30 in per stool. A footrest is recommended for comfortable seating.

Commercial leg sizes often overlap these ranges, but they are not the finished table height once a top is added. Length, width, slab thickness, live-edge depth, and base placement vary by design. Exact finished dimensions are confirmed before production.

Materials & Natural Variation

Choose from solid Teak or Suar. Grain, color, knots, fissures, live edges, and tonal movement are part of the material, not defects. Before production, we will share the available slab options, measurements, and defining characteristics for your approval.

Base Options & Customization

Select Axis, Apex, Gallery, or Interlock, or request a custom base. Base height is calculated from the chosen finished table height minus the measured slab thickness. Its stance, proportions, placement, metal finish, and color are then adjusted to suit the slab, use, and room. If you already own a base, our team can review its dimensions and structural suitability before confirming the project.

Finishes & Care

Clean with a soft, slightly damp cloth and dry promptly. Use coasters and trivets, wipe spills quickly, and avoid standing water, harsh cleaners, and direct heat. For covered outdoor settings, protection from prolonged moisture and strong direct sun is recommended.
